Lament and Revelry of the Fey
John C. Cyr
Shadows and light dance gaily
Among the oak trees at Crillaun
Where the red sky of twilight
Invades the ancient glen.
And from under hill they came
By earth and by air they flew
The dark shadows grew longer
While the wind hailed them all.
The Daoine Sidhe dance wildly
Throught the misty glen
Where no mortal passes this night
Upon the airy rath of Lugh.
They made love to the night
And sang their ancient song
Of a time sadly gone
When the sidhe were lovers all.
