(Feast Day of Beltane) Festival of Fertility
We celebrate the turning of the year with the planting and nurturing of seeds—of earth, of spirit, of intent. The fields are stirred, the soil warmed, and the breath of spring moves through root and branch.
This is the season of quickening, when the Veil thins toward life. Unborn spirits, elemental forces, and intentions seeking form cross into the waking world. Fertility is honored not in flesh alone, but in the unfolding of purpose, the blooming of desire, and the sacred entangling of what wishes to grow.
We dance not for spectacle, but to awaken the land. Each step is a blessing, each movement a weaving of will and world. Offerings are laid at the threshold and altar: blossoms, herbs, and tokens of renewal.
As Bealltainn opens the threshold to incarnation, so Samhainn will open it toward remembrance. Both are crossings. At Beltane, we call the spirits into bloom.
