Kodama is the youngest of Raven and Ash’s children and, like their siblings, has been an initiate of the Craft since their teenage years. They generally use nonbinary language to describe themself, and their path has always been uniquely their own.

While still in high school, Kodama wrote a powerful reflection for the coven website—an honest and searching piece about growing up in a family that practiced Witchcraft openly. They spoke of the pain and courage that came with being different: navigating bullying, coming out as bisexual, and holding fast to a spiritual identity shaped by Wicca, Shinto, and Buddhism. They described themselves as “a Shinto-Wiccan-Buddhist,” drawn to the Earth’s spirit and the quiet striving toward enlightenment.

Despite hardship, Kodama never rejected the values they were raised with. Instead, they learned to carry them carefully, sometimes quietly, always deliberately. Their words from that time still echo: “I thank the Gods and my parents for allowing me the right and privilege of seeing the world through a different view.”

For personal reasons, Kodama has stepped back from active participation in the coven at present. Their journey continues in their own way and time—still grounded in truth, still walking a path toward understanding, still part of the wider weaving of our Tradition.
