Moondancer was a founding High Priest of Nemed Cuculatii and, before that, served with Raven in StarMist Cuveen. He was an Elder High Priest within the New England Covens of Traditionalist Witches (NECTW), as well as an Elder of the Georgian Tradition, and was active in the Craft and the wider Pagan community for many years.
He was initiated into the second Georgian coven, the Aphrodite Coven, at Beltane, 28 April 1973, by Lord Mercury and Lady Aphrodite. Following the dissolution of that coven, he studied with Lady Persephone, later known as Zanoni Silverknife, and served as her High Priest in the Sacred Grove of Vril. He received his Second Degree in 1974 and Third Degree in 1975.
Over the years, Moondancer studied and worked within several Craft traditions. Along with Raven, his practice eventually centred upon the teachings preserved within the New England Covens of Traditionalist Witches, descended through Lady Gwynne Thompson.
On 28 May 1993, Moondancer was formally elevated to the rank of High Priest within NECTW by Lord Theitic and Lady Raven. His elevation recognized his authority to preside over his own coven and to establish other covens within the tradition.
Moondancer was also active for many years in the broader Pagan community, including the Covenant of the Goddess and its Northwest Local Council, and was involved in Pagan networking, teaching, publishing, and the developing online Craft community.
Moondancer has since gone to the West. His contributions remain part of the history and heritage of Nemed Cuculatii, and his name continues to appear in older writings, teachings, and archival materials preserved by the coven.
