(I absolutely detest the minimalization of The Rede. It’s eight damned words, not two, and the “Three-fold Law” is about the repercussions of everything you do, for weal or woe. The Witch must always bide the issue.

“Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill — and it harm none, do what you Will.”

That’s not a proscription against doing harm, it’s a reminder that if what you are doing is going to cause harm, be aware of it, deal with the fallout from it, and “None” includes yourself! And if what you are about to do causes no harm, then do what you will.)

There’s more to say about this, but I’m otherwise occupied right now. Maybe I’ll expand on it later.
